Escape to the Park and step into the past.
Join us on an expedition to the land of gold as we explore the history of the Gordon Stockade, the intrepid group that defied government orders in their quest for riches, and the mysteries of the things we don’t know. We’ll also look at the what the future holds for this iconic structure.
The next Escape to the Park program, March 28, will feature Kobee Stalder, Visitor Services Program Manager, speaking about the planning process for the Sylvan Lake area.
A park entrance license is required to enter the park and can be purchased at the Park Office from 8:00am to 4:30pm during the week, or at the Visitor Center. The Visitor Center, located at the intersection of Hwy 16A and Wildlife Loop Road, is open from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
